Hiking
The Santa Cruz mountains have incredible trails for hiking amongst the beautiful redwood forrest and swooping coastlines. Check out the West Cliff Drive Trail (Easy 4 Miles) or the Natural Bridges Loop Trail (Easy 4.8 Miles). For something a little more intense but worth while is the 5 hour hike to Berry Creek Falls (Intermediate 11 Miles).
Steam Train through the Redwoods
Hop aboard a 19th-century steam train to enjoy some of Santa Cruz’s most scenic landscapes. This open air ride is narrated by the conductor providing historic information about the city and surrounding forrest.
